Hiya. The big news since I was last here is that after a marginally less than flawless application and interview process

I got into MA Visual Communication at the RCA!

The initial jackpot-winning rush has since been massively tempered by the horrific reality of their 2012 fees and it's certainly not a foregone conclusion that I'll actually be able to go, but we'll see. I'd appreciate any finance tipoffs a lot.

This will probably be the last post in this awkward hybrid hot mess of a blog.

OUT OF THE TOP DRAWER

I'm featured as one of 'three of Scotland's finest illustrators' in the new issue of satisfyingly glossy Homes & Interiors Scotland. There's loads of other rad stuff in it too, including a feature about the late lamented Elders department store in Glasgow with its brilliant Robert Stewart mural which I'm dying to see restored. Thanks to Gabriella Bennett for getting in touch with me, and I must also mention that the picture of the coffee cups is courtesy of Craig at Six Eight Kafe.

3 A very stunning and gorgeous card from Berlin/ELLA. It's allegedly a belated Xmas card but as it arrived today I've been ostentatiously flaunting it as a Valentine, natch.

I've had a kinda wordy (by 'wordy' I obv mean involving more than one paragraph and a lower ratio of acronyms to legit words than I'm generally comfortable with) post in my drafts for a while now and it's become something of a millstone around my neck. So I just thought, you know what m8, just post some pictures, just go for it. Here is some work in progress from my zine about the Scottish third division, due to appear imminently.
